The guesthouse is an interesting mix between western 'rural hotel' and japanese trimmings. It has a shoes-off policy (slippers provided at the entry-hall), and it has a furo (hot bath) that's available 24/7. The beds/rooms are western-style. The breakfast was wonderful (non-buffet, a platter provided with all kinds of things, western-style) and despite us having been the only guests for at least one of the days, the staff was always super-responsive and available whenever we needed to ask a question. The location has ample parking-space. On a good day, you may even get a glimpse of Fuji in the far distance from infront of the guesthouse. Great place to plan hikes/walks/treks in the surrounding mountain-areas and/or Aogakihara forest close to Fuji

The only 'downside' I could think of is that it is NOT close to anything wrt. walking-distance. A car is required to take care of getting anywhere; although there are likely some good hiking-trips that can be started from the guesthouse itself. Getting there, however, would require a taxi/car anyway.

Room is very spacious and can fit 2 open luggages. Bathroom is very clean and we enjoyed the bathtub. The location is close to train station and there are nearby supermarket, convenience stores, coffee cafes as well as a McDonalds outlet and laundry store. Hotel is about 10-15 mins walk from the shopping districts. There is also a water dispenser at the lift lobby on each floor, so I do not have to keep requesting for water bottles. There is also a drinks corner at the reception level with coffee and soft drinks dispenser. The staff are also very friendly and approachable.

Laundry room only have 4 washer/dryer units and most of the time, it is being occupied and the guests do not collect their laundry on time.

The location was good for us as we wanted to stay in an onsen town. The owners are absolutely wonderful. We were very kindly given a lift to the monkey park and to a lovely spot to take some pictures and were really looked after during our stay. We had one Japanese style dinner and breakfast during our two night stay. It was delicious with real attention to detail and was beautifully presented. All the staff were lovely and warm. You are given a 'master' key to the nine different onsens in town to use at your leisure (during opening hours)

Our room was very dated and overpriced for what it was. Breakfast and dinner came at extra cost. This was the most expensive location we stayed at during our two weeks in Japan - it was offset a little by the availability of the town onsens and the lovely welcome from the owners.
Tokyo, Japan

The location was excellent as it was directly opposite Akihabara station which made journeys easy and convenient. It was also close to shops and restaurants and the general "buzz" of Akihabara. The room was pleasant and stylish and the air con was fitted into the wall and was easier to understand than others we had experienced - it was also a little quieter than many. The staff were very helpful and we left our luggage there at both ends of our stay.

The hotel is sandwiched between tall buildings which means there was no decent view from our window - it was difficult to judge the weather as you could only just see the sky way above with difficulty.

Great location, just at beginning of main entry road to Ginza. Biggest room ever during our Tokyo trip compare with the other 4 star hotels. Free snake, comfortable bed, free beer, saki, red wine. And price is good too, highly recommended

The best part about this hotel is location. It is really close to train station and have a lot of good restaurants around it. The Jacuzzi on the top floor is really good.

The room is too cramp and the bed is too soft. The room is really dusty. Every time I moved the blanket or shake the blanket, there are so much dust flying around.

Maybe because they had to deal with a lot of guests, I had asked them questions through booking.com, but there’s no reply.
