location was great. overall the value was good, a room for 200 dollars within walking distance of downtown core in victoria. basically what you would want, no frills, and if your priority is a cheaper hotel that you sleep in but not paying for luxury than this is the place. If you have champagne tastes dont book here.

the room was very hot. manager stated that they hotel uses a boiler system and our thermostat in room did not function. we had to use the AC to keep temperatures lower

It was soo filthy I didn't want to touch anything, except bed which I judged had clean sheets, although I removed the bed cover. The rugs are disgusting and I had to clean areas I was using before hand. Did not use any furnishing with cloth upholstery. Really wanted a shower but seeing other peoples garbage on bathroom floor turned me off the idea. I'm ok with rundown facilities but this was plain filthy
