As the place is 2x 2 bed units (and not one whole house) we were separated from the kids. Whilst we were comfortable with this - other families may not be.

The house needs a thorough clean and some much needed maintenance. Cobwebs, gecko droppings and sticky railings and floors, thick dust and dead insects covering most surfaces such as windowsills, wall hangings and frames, lamps, cupboards, tvs, appliances. The drawers in the kitchen are filthy. Some cutlery and pans had to be washed prior to use. The pantry is full of cobwebs and the container of non perishables has long since perished. This includes the drawer next to the oven. There is grime, crumbs and dirt. The light fixture above the dining table had to be cleaned before we could eat due to the build up of cobwebs and dust. The pool area had not been swepped with white dog hair on navy pillows and decking. Thick dust on the outdoor coffee table. The Xbox has no working controllers. The clock upstairs has no batteries. The drawers with toys in the play area have rubbish and empty containers. There are multiple light bulbs out making the already dark house even darker. The main bedroom aircon does not work. The top bunk in bedroom two was too rickety and wobbly for our five year old who opted to sleep on the single bed against the wall. Unfortunately this bed had large cracks in the side boards. The BBQ stopped working midway through cooking. The fly screens need replacing as they have large holes and we had to have mosquito coils burning outside bedrooms for most of our stay. The living area furniture is very uncomfortable, worn and not inviting to relax on after a long day.
