Our room, which had direct access to the beach and pool, was both comfortable and stunning. We chose the Beachfront Villa, which turned out to be the best decision. The breakfast was amazing, and the Beach Bar was a phenomenal spot for late afternoon drinks while watching the stunning sunsets.

Great hotel. The facilities seems new, and the overall standard is very clean and nice. Even the design is great. The rooms/bungalows are big. We had a soap dispenser, and not the classic loafs, which was nice. The breakfast is REALLY nice and with actual coffee (not the Nescafe one). So do yourself a favour and get breakfast at the hotel. The location is very quiet as it is a bit outside the main areas on Ko Lanta, but it is just next to the beach. You can also rent scooters at the hotel for a good price. The guy in the reception when we were there was also the owner of the place, and is really kind and helpful with anything. You can even book tours with him.

Really great cozy hotel! The room is very spacious and so so clean! Amazing value for money, the staff is taking a really good care of the place! The garden is beautiful and although there is no pool or restaurant in the place- it's amazing as there are many places and restaurants to explore in the area and the beach- Long beach is perfect for swimming and chilling. Very recommended!

We loved everything in the resort and we have to thank Tan and his team for trying to make us feel more than welcome and help us with everything we needed. Tan can help you with the pick up from the pier, renting you a scooter even though he was out with his scooters, booking activities that he didn’t offer and giving suggestions on where to eat and drink. The location was 5 min away from the beach, close to a lot of restaurants and bars. The breakfast was fulfilling and was served everyday with a smile from the staff. They offer laundry service which is really convenient. The pool was really nice and clean. The room was being cleaned every day providing us with two bottles of water as well. Our experience in Koh Lanta is one to not forget just because the staying in this resort. We highly recommend it and we will come back one day for sure!

I can't say enough good things about Sea Shell. Run by a family where multiple generations joyfully work alongside one another, you feel like a family guest more than a hotel guest. The place feels pure, gentle, kind, and joyful. It is like Little House on the Prairie but in Thailand in the 21st century and the family business is hospitality. The rooms are simple, but super clean and have all you need. The place is small/boutique (only ten bungalows or so) and it is right on the beach so serene breakfasts await you in the morning and sublime sunsets at night. Last but not least, I loved the food. I ate almost every meal here during my three week stay. My favorite? The chicken pad thai. Oh, and the wifi is super strong, which is important for me as a digital nomad. So, huge praise for this place. I've been a nomad for three years now and only sublime escapes in Slovenia rivals the genuine kindness and hospitality I experienced at Sea Shell. I give it my highest possible recommendation.

The stay at Toongyoong was beyond fantastic. Watson & his family made me feel at home from the moment I arrived and it just feels like not leaving! I was treated as a friend and not as a guest which made a whole difference in my stay. The rooms were very nice, great size and clean. The air-con worked really well especially in the usual hot Thai days. I had to do some work so Watson even arranged a table in my room. Wifi was also more than enough for some zoom calls as he recently upgraded the connection there. Location was great, at a short walking distance to the beach and to nice local restaurants & cafes. Long beach was very quiet but it never failed to impress with stunning sunsets. Anything you need to go around Koh Lanta can be arranged by Watson (scooters, tours, laundry, transfers to Krabi) so there was no worries whatsoever. It has been an absolute amazing stay and I can't wait to get back to Koh Lanta and stay there again!

Large basic rooms, with good aircon and comfortable beds. Kettle with coffee provided (tea also if you ask for it), bottled water and toiletries also provided but we didn't find the advertised hairdryer (it may have been available on request but I always take my own, so I didn't ask). Wifi was good, as was the food in the restaurant. The pool area was looking a bit tired but was great for a dip when the tide was out.
