The entire experience at Stornoway was Exceptional. Everything is as described. No hidden surprises. From the food, the service and our rooms. Breakfast included was just perfect. The Chef was super nice and even catered for my small babies. Dinner was traditional SA meals. Heartwarming and delicious. We could also do a BBQ for family lunch. Equipment was provided and there are stores nearby for groceries. The staff was super friendly and welcoming. Always available to assist with our needs. Our rooms were super clean.

The property was very quiet and peaceful. Surrounded by lots of nature. Our little lodge/chalet was amazing and very comfortable to spend the whole entire day in without feeling too bored especially being able to sit outside on the deck with the braai going. The staff were so friendly as well as the hosts who were very accommodating.

Mike was quite helpful with our last minute booking and made sure we understood everything. Pool table kept kids quite busy. They have more tv channels compared to other lodges who assume we all like watching sports programs

We were made to feel very welcome and the chalet was lovely. Surroundings are also great - a haven away from the city, though close enough if you want some retail therapy. The chalet we were in had the feel of a rustic, comfortable game lodge and the fireplace was perfect for a chilly evening!
