Overlooking Douro River in Porto, the 5-star Palácio Do Freixo is set in a restored 18th-century Baroque building. It offers aristocratic public areas with stately architecture, combined with modern rooms with flat-screen TV. Rooms at Pestana Palácio do Freixo are spacious, air-conditioned and have a separate seating area. Bathrooms include luxury amenities and a hairdryer. Some rooms offer Douro River views. Guests can relax on a sun lounger next to the hotel's infinity pool which overlooks the river. The spa has a Turkish bath, heated indoor pool and a sauna. Massage treatments are also available. Please note that the property reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to arrival. Payment of the full reservation amount is due at the property.
For bookings of 9 or more rooms, the hotel will charge a non-refundable prepayment of 50% of the entire reservation on the guest's credit card. Please note that breakfast is included for these types of rates, but half board is not included.
As a sustainability measure, the indoor pool's water will only be heated to 26ºC.
