The smaller beaches outside of Port Shepstone, such as Annerley and Southport, were fabulous - ideal for family holidays. Port Shepstone itself is not that great - just another typical 'crummy' SA town. Casa do Joao is a great Portuguese restaurant in Manaba Beach, but the road noise, including from the construction trucks fixing the road, was dreadful during our lunch. Avoid the old R102 South Coast road between Port Shepstone and Soutbroom where possible - much roadworks going on.

The location of the accommodation it's very close to all amnesties, just a walk to the beach, very close to Spar and Jaxx restaurant where we had our dinner, Jaxx restaurant's meals are so delicious 🤗, also there's a Shopping center- Oribi plaza where you find most banks and Shops. Port Shepstone is an attractive and beautiful place to be and is so easy to get around it.

    Nice quiet town.

Nice quiet town. Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the beach and environment. Delicious food. Laidback culture. Amazing fish!!! Seaside views. Can watch dolphins and whales from the beach or your window. Very strong currents so water to be treated with respect. Beautiful town. Not for the rowdy traveller.

Port shepstone is a very lovely place, getting there Friday morning and leaving Monday afternoon, we managed to go to atleast 3 beaches. It was unfortunate that we using a bus going there, so getting around was a nightmare, as there are no Ubers and bolts, we had to make use of meter taxis and they quite pricey. Over all, the people there are nice and I would definitely recommend it.

The house was peaceful and relaxing. Everything was clean and in it's place. Yes the house is old and a little dilapidated but honestly for the low price you can not expect a 5 star hotel. They are keeping the expenses low in order to keep the rates low. Some minor improvements would do wonders, definitely a new shower head. Traffic in and out of the the area was a bit tough and the driveway requires some skill. Great hosts and beautiful furniture. Bonus feature! You actually jave a great seaview from the main bedroom

May I check why booking. Com is adverstising nice rooms for the budget and when you reach the hotel they show you a not nice room without the refrigerator and without eating utensils. I think here customers are misled by the nice pictures of the rooms which are not in reality once you reach the hotel.
