It’s a very beautiful place with clean beaches and lovely greenery that keeps the temperatures cool. All this makes it a relaxing destination and peaceful experience. The villas at Golden Beach are private and spacious and the food at restaurant was very good. The staff were both courteous and helpful.

If you love the beach, this is the place to go.

If you love the beach, this is the place to go. Nice not so overcrowded beach sites, clean water, water has nice temperature, lots of water activities. But beware: from 4pm a stronger wind breeze could cause you catch a cold if you don’t prepare. Sun is very hot. Don’t forget to bring your sunblocker...not so easy to find there... place is still underdeveloped... check out the local market for going out...you‘ll love it...

    Accomodation shocking.

Accomodation shocking. Dirt roads in village has become a race track with cars, buckies who speed to get through soft sand, only if they deflate their tyres they would be able to drive with respect to others. Quad bikes have become a nusience as well with noise and speeding.

    Friendly locals.

Friendly locals. No need to drive around, everything within walking distance, very clean. Food outlets very affordable. Enjoyed the snorkelling, quad biking and the local bread was just awesome. I was pleasantly overwhelmed when I forgot my shorts at the beach and the local who pitched a shelter for us there, came looking for us to give me my shorts !!! Such honesty !!!

A hub of activity. Extremely catching.

A hub of activity. Extremely catching. Disorganized organisation. Most places are a walk away, that's how small and crowded it is. Easily conquered on the quad bikes which are buzzing up and down constantly. The place is overpowered by the 4x4s travelling at higher speeds than necessary in the small spaces. Felt the place is dominated by a vibe of bars, restaurants and quad bikes. Ice stalls were noted. Water slide noted on the way to Malongane. Sad to see the locals peddling their wares in non dignified non designated places. No well built shades or cubicles.
