Bad weather otherwise good. Versailles, if signposted not visible from street. Chinese place dreadful for takeaways. Pancake parlour not good either Should have eaten at bed and breakfast but pricey. Otherwise ate with relatives. I'd avoid the above and eat a breakfast at the b'n'b.

Gonubie is a place hidden away from the greater Eastern Cape and although the town is not big and cater for the city sleeker, it is definitely a place where you can have long walks on the beach that is safe and memorable..

The premises were always neat and tidy and the daily refreshing and cleaning of the unit was really excellent! The location, a stone-throw from the rocks at Gonubie and a comfortable walk from the beach, was really great and made for excellent daily exercise! The unit is very comfortable, airy and makes excellent use of natural light! Great value and look forward to visiting again!

Excellent layout: roomy with 2 couches & 2 chairs, plenty of kitchen & fridge space, nice finishes & decor. We had our own private garage with remote. Owners were friendly and helpful & the place was spotless. As we were street side, we had a partial view of the ocean, but it was a quick drive down Main Street (3-5 minutes?) Gonubie Beach is beautiful and opens to an inner beach along the river where one can swim/ float in warmer water.

The hosts was very accommodating and freindly. Always their to help and assist with anything and everything we needed. I will recommend it to anybody and everyone that wants to visit Gonubie for a good rest holiday. The rooms get cleaned everymorning and fresh linen and towels are provided. House keeping is excellent. We had a wonderfull holiday.

The convenience of the Spar literally around the corner from the BnB was really nice as well. The breakfasts served are really lovely too! The staff is incredibly friendly and always available. All in all, this will be our family spot when we visit Gonubie :)
